Last night had the pleasure of having …Sushi!
It is not a rare occurrence that I do, but I purposely limit it to once a month, so I can then savour every bite of delicious goodness.
In Malta the best restaurant is called Sakura. It is situated in the centre of the city Sliema and i would recommend it to everyone. The taste is real and it shows that it has been done with love by a chef that knows what he is doing and takes time to make every roll look like art. As I am a serial browser I was curious to see what Sakura meant and here it is: 桜 Cherry Blossom . (pretty close to my Blog name, interesting hehe)
What is great about sushi in my opinion is; it’s light consistent structure, when done properly the beautiful cut rolls and plate set up. It is a feast for both eyes and taste buds!
I have had Sushi in several places around Malta, Bangkok , Hong Kong , Vegas , Paris and i really think that I have not really had the real deal. However this does not make the experience of having Sushi any less exciting. Every time I take a bite I want to fly to Japan, but then again for who knows me anything is a good excuse to get into that beloved plane!
Don’t you think there is something so organised and pristine that makes it unique? I personally would love to be sucked into the Japanese culture as it says a lot about their way of life and society.
So without further ado I would like to present to you my top four sushi favourites.
Two weeks ago I tweeted on the lines of “Sushi is the Food of Gods “and again I confirm that is indeed FACT!
Have a lovely day
