On my journey to finding a right medium to keep my weight in check and bloating to a minimum I have tried an array of health bars, supplements and worked out in patches.I also binged on lovely wafers in the morning which i discovered kept me bloated all day long.
One morning my boss caught me going to the vending machine for a quick fix of a kinder bueno and as she is the advocate of healthy living through and through she showed me what she does in her busy schedule. So I thought why not try and get my 5 a day fruit and veg try something new and cut the packaged crap. If it takes me 5 minutes to make something good I’m In!
My smoothie which significantly banished my bloating is the following. This is a two day morning supply :
A mixer
One plain yoghurt
A large hand full of fresh Strawberries or frozen ( i choose frozen they last longer)
2 Apples
1 Banana medium size
One block of frozen spinach
Half a glass of cold water
2 tablespoons of wheat grass (Optional)
I usually put them in the mixer till they are very finely chopped so I can put it in my portable flask. In the flask I put 3 ice cubes and shake it so it will be fresh through out the morning. So there you go that is all and tastes fresh and naturally sweet , will also keep you full for most of the morning. GENIUS! lol
Also I wanted my friends to try it out so I just displayed them into cocktail glasses and we had a healthy night gossiping. Who knew healthy can be fun and tasty ??!
After 7 days of taking it every morning and also implementing 10 minutes of stretching in the morning I can safely say it made a whole lot of difference and it’s just the right amount of healthy for my lifestyle and character.
