On a Sunday evening, thinking continuously if I should wake up very early to go to the gym tomorrow. I decided to put aside this worry and go through some products I purchased last December at one of my Boots shopping trips in London.
This box was purchased as there was a large selection of products in it which I mostly needed and it was GBP75. It came in two very large gift boxes in shimmery rose Gold which looked beautiful. However it was going to take up a lot of space in my luggage. Destiny wanted me to walk past the display for a second time, and the lady brought to my attention that the box has been reduced to GBP35. Suddenly the packing problem was a thing of the past! PURCHASED.
Unfortunately I could not get the box’s with me hence why I could not display the products with the full package.
However I have a review about each and every product for you as all these products can be purchased separately.
Starting with Face Products. Suited for later 20’s and early 30’s.
No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Day Cream – The cream feels very subtle on the skin and with an extra amount it is great for a make up base. Although it is marked as intense it does not feel heavy on the skin and it hydrates subtly without leaving your face looking shiny. Rating – 7/10
No7 Protect & Perfet Intense Night Cream – Unlike the day cream the Night Cream is thicker which is a standard feature with most night creams. However it settles well in the skin and it keeps your face hydrated all through the night. Rating 6.5/10
No7 Lovely Lashes in Black – The mascara brush is what I particularly love, as it keeps lashes separated and perfect for a day look as it does not look heavy. I am currently using it for work as I usually prefer a natural look with the added lash curl I require! Rating 8.5/10
No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Lotion – A little product goes a long way with this cleansing lotion. It clears mascara and all the make up softly without irritation or rough movements on the skin. This would be a repeat purchase as I love the effectiveness. Rating 9/10
No7 Protect & Perfect Day Hand Cream – Now for starters I am not sure why it is a “day” cream as I would not know the difference! However this product was a bit of a disappointment as it was pretty sticky and it did not sink into the hands well. I am afraid I will use this when I have no other option. Rating 4/10
No7 Dry Skin Rescue – Now this is a product which hydrates those area’s were the cold has really took its toll. In winter I get a bad case of dry skin on my ankle and elbow area. I remembered that I had this product in the box and I used it and after a couple of times using it, it really helped my dryness! Rating 7.5/10
No7 Completely Quenched Body Lotion – In conjunction with the Skin Rescue when you really want to give your body a hydration boost these two products really do a great job to get your skin feeling smooth and subtle all day. The scent is delightful too its as if you stepped into a spa! Rating 8/10
No7 Blissfull Body Wash – This is my chosen shower gel after a gym session. Honestly does the job, smells lovely however it is just a standard shower gel nothing more to it. 6.5/10
No7 Sumptous Bath Soak – I used this at the hotel the last day of my stay in London as I needed a good pamper session after what was an endless shopping day. Filled up the bath with warm water and got a large amount of product on my hands under running water. Rating – SPECTACULAR this is absolutely lovely, my skin felt baby soft once I was done. The room was filled with a lovely scent too!
All in all this box was absolutely brilliant. For GBP35 you get a great selection of products which are very subtle and soft to the skin. Most loved products are the Day Moisturiser, Body Rescue cream , body cream and the Bath Soak. If you manage to get this box for yourself or as a gift I would definitely recommend it. Total Rating 8/10
Hope you enjoyed this review.
Take care Peeps 🙂
