On a very gloomy Good Friday , it is perfect timing to review some colourful products which I purchased from Bella Roma ! (and about time too )
All the products below have been used, tested and links to each product provided (if available on-line), so let’s get started:
KIKO Mosaic Highlighter (Link http://bit.ly/1GRVOIE)
Packaging and Product could easily not be used and just displayed as it is a beauty! The highlighter transfers the correct amount of product on your brush or finger to give you a hint of a natural glow. It is not over powering at all and leaves you looking glowing without looking like a glittered unicorn, which I see way too often! Result : 9.5/10
Colour Up Eye shadow (Link http://bit.ly/1AYg9d0 Colour in my image not available online)
For most parts eye shadow sticks do not work on my eyelid! I get that nasty white creamy crease on the eyelid which looks horrible. However as I never tried the KIKO eye shadow stick I gave it a go, and to be clear I am obsessed! I could slap myself for not getting all of the remaining eye shadows cause this is brilliant. The colour is a charcoal purple and it glides on your eyelids not too easily so you need to give it a couple of strokes. After a long day at work there is no hint of movement, the colour remains solid and it feels like I have nothing on. Result: 10/10
Top Pairs Blush 03 Rosewood and Azalea (Not available online)
Once again the packaging is solid and has a flare of Damask in Pink. The two tones of colours are beautiful, however for someone with fair skin like me , I use the brown blush as a light contour and I only need a small blended amount for the pink blush to give me the look I want. Other than that I could easily stay looking at this pretty box for a ridiculous amount of time, it gorgeous! Result: 7.5/10
KIKO Rounded Eye Brush and Blush Brush (Links http://bit.ly/1CkhOFB & http://bit.ly/1HrUsm)
Starting from the eye brush this is the perfect size to blend in your eye shadow and make it look like it’s part of your skin. You do not need to be a professional to use this but it is essential to your make up collection. The semi soft bristles and the round top makes it easy to blend in any look. The blush brush looks heavenly however it is a bit too soft for my liking. I prefer a slightly stiffer bristle to control the amount of product I want distributed on my face. The best way of using it personally is to blend in the contour and also remove some excess face powder around the face, so I still gave it a job! Result: Round Brush 9.5/10 Blush Brush 7/10
KIKO Glassy LipGloss in Clever Coral (Link http://bit.ly/1NMwUvU)
Apart from my popping veins which I have no idea from where they came from, this is a pop it in your everyday bag type of product. It gives a hint of colour, doesn’t feel like applying glue to your mouth and does the trick of giving you a glossy effect. It needs to be topped up from time to time however nothing more than you would normally do. Result:8/10
KIKO Cleansing Foam and Cleansing Brush (Links http://bit.ly/1GRYBla & http://bit.ly/19Sw5To )
My morning routine and make up removal routine has been changed since these two babies have been bought! The foam is the most delicate product I ever put on my skin in ages, the product looks like a lighter shaving foam on your hands but on your face it turns creamy and ever so light. I find this perfect for the mornings and also to remove light day make up. The brush also gets a thumb’s up I guess its the cheaper version of the electronic brushes. The bristles and the plastic bits of the brush give a soft facial massage and removes further make up from your skin. I can see some residue when I use it which shows me it really works, you can control your motion so it is a very manageable piece of equipment that everyone should have. Result: Both 9.5/10
All In Eye Marker and Kajal (Not available on-line)
Basically this is felt tip eye liner on one side and a crayon on the other side. The concept is good the product is not that impressive for what it’s job should be, however they can work for other duties! The crayon is way to big and slightly too creamy so I use it for a when I want a blended eye liner look to give your eyes a soft smoky definition which is not too heavy. The felt tip is messy so I could not manage a winged eye liner, however this is good to line the lower lash line for a dramatic look. Result: (with customised duties) 7/10
KIKO has always impressed me with its innovative new products , great quality make up and beautiful packaging. The constant change and options in their selection shows the dedication the company has; to produce what is most sought out by the customer. Their shopping experience all over the world is always pleasant and you never get any judgemental sales assistants , they are always happy to help; so service is also impeccable. Hope this brand keeps growing and improving from all area’s as it is always great to spend money where you are welcome!
P.S All Products have been purchased by my poor VISA so all opinions and views are mine! 🙂
