Hey Peeps! As you might have noticed or you might want to know that I have been on an 8 week clean eating and training period. I didn’t want to put much on the blog until I actually saw results. Results speak loader then words! If you are going through the journey or you want to start this might help you achieve your goal.
This is the very first time in my entire life that I was serious into getting healthy and lose some weight. The most difficult part of a diet personally is cutting the food we love, not thinking about the food we are going to eat and snacking whenever we feel like. For some; all the above relate to them and others it’s the snacking part which is a deal breaker. That is me. I Will not go into detail why and how , when you are searching for tips for weight loss you just want answers no frills.
When on a diet you want to replace the bad with the good I have learnt rather then starving yourself. The first week you learn to replace and the second week it will be a walk in the park cause you have your answers.
What saved me these weeks is 2 tbsp of pumpkin seeds with the shell and one square of 74% dark chocolate every single night.
I was pleasantly surprised how comforting taking off the pumpkin seed shell and eating the seed , in bed at the end of my long day while browsing is!
Nutritional Facts in 2 tbsp of Pumpkin Seeds:
Calories : 36 Fat:1.6 Carbs:4.3
Followed by an intense 74% dark chocolate that satisfy’s your need of carbs in the chocolate version! Please note I hated dark chocolate and now it is an absolute favourite.
Nutritional Facts in 1 block of 74% Dark Chocolate
Calories:42 Fat:1.8 Carbs:3.2
So the main point of this blog was ‘Replacing’ . Eliminating something like snacking which is a habit will make you crave the bad foods and you will eventually give up. Starting a new healthy habit will last longer and will give you more motivation to implement it in your food choices everyday of your life without being boring!
