Hello Lovelies! Malta calling, it is bearably cold at this point, the frozen phase has passed just for the moment.
I would like to present today a review of the Magnitone BareFaced. This is a facial cleansing and toning brush. This was part of my hubbies christmas present so I have been using it for over 5 weeks now and I am ready to give you a proper review.
For the past couple of months I was in search of cleansing brush as I felt my daily make up removal was not good enough. For a while I had been noticing a massive marketing campaign for the Magnitone and I was growing interested. Fast forward to some YouTube tutorials, Magnitone site analysing and a Feelunique.com special offer!
When I received the package the presentation was exceptional, it came in a rather large box and everything inside was perfectly organised. There is a quick & easy to use manual and also a member card for a discount on your first brush repurchase.
The Magnitone is water proof so you can use it in the shower and the charger is a small pod that attaches with a magnate at the bottom. It comes with two settings, cleansing brush and a pulsating toning function which is a dream on your skin!
When I used the cleansing brush for the first time I wet my face and then the brush itself, put some Vichy cleansing gel and with a light hand and circular motion the fun begins! The Magnitone has an inbuilt timer so you don’t spend a lot of time on one spot. So there is a 20 second beep for each of the three facial areas, T-Zone, cheeks and neck.
Personally I found using the brush day in day out was best for my skin as I did not want to over cleanse it. However it all depends on the skin type I believe. The toning function I use once a week when I have time in the weekend to give an extra pampering to my skin. Every time you use it your skin feels so soft and subtle that you can’t help feeling your own skin! And after 3 weeks of using it I could see a difference especially when I put on make up, the products sit on my face way more smoothly and my face has less exposed pores which is winner for me!
The cons are two and minimal, when the brush is on and using it in front of a mirror you get a lot of sprinkles and dots so I would suggest the shower if you hate dotted mirrors. The other thing is if you have sensitive skin make sure you use a cleanser which is gel based and pretty thick so that you have some protection when the brush is working.
Lovely product well presented and gorgeous for a REAL REAL cleanse every time!
