Hello Lovelies, today is a special day for the planet, it is my Birthday!! Well today it is my 32nd birthday and I have no idea how to act this age or how I got to this age? All I know is that I am in a happy place, my wrinkles are under control, I have achieved more then I could ever imagined and I am positive that I have been through enough poo to be strong enough to handle what life throws at me! I thought I would put up this extra blog as it genuinely makes me happy to upload and share some content that makes me happy with you. So with less words but more pictures, here is one day through London in February 2016 with my lovely hubby…
Piccadilly Circus a spot full of my child hood memories, I would make my parents run around this fountain every time. Rebel!
Yes, of course a mirror selfie of my favourite travel outfit! My first full day outfit which was perfect, comfy and warm! (Just if you are interested the jacket is Zara and they still have it in stock)
This is a garden round the corner from our hotel which was 2 minutes away from Paddington station. I loved walking through this gorgeous garden nestled between some beautiful victorian buildings.
Absolutely amazing British Pub meal in Oxford street! We had this Ale & Stew pie and Fish & Chips downed with a pint of Guiness. Perfection
Round the corner from Leicester square I came across this book store which threw me back to the Oliver Twist era! It was simply exquisite so lovely.
The London underground makes me so claustrophobic so hubby caught me smiling nervously going up the escalator. Ha!
This is partly a beauty blog so I have to throw in a make up look, that really turned out nicely, if i may say so myself. We where getting ready to watch “War Horse” at the theatre.
War Horse was the most creative bit of theatre I have seen for a while. The story line drew me in instantly and the actors where fantastic depicting a story during war time with manual wooden horses manoeuvred by humans. If you are in London this is an evening you should not miss.
China Town is a remarkable spot to go around especially when it was decorated for Chinese New Year, however this time around there was a lot of construction going on which dampened the atmosphere.
This was an other look from my London geeky repertoire, we always went back in the room late afternoon to wind down, so I could play around with some new make up.
The Ritz; never stood inside, however the building itself is just gorgeous.
This holiday was certainly an international culinary experience, which we enjoyed as we live for food anyways. For our last night we went to a Mexican restaurant in Leicester Square which started us up with Nachos & Guacamole and ended in too many calories!
