Hello Lovelies. Today I bring you a cosy winter post. These past weeks I have been so happy to have two pieces of clothing that I can mix and match easily.
I picked these two items because they were waterfall cardigans which I like as a style and they had a block grey colour which I find simple to style. Both these items were bought 3 weeks ago from Primark London Totthenham court road, and they had a large amount available at that time. ASOS and many shops around Malta have been geared up to offer these styles too.
The first cardigan is sleeveless, a light grey with a really nice cotton like soft material, it has a square edge to it and two pockets on the side. I wear this in several ways such as:
1-Thick black leggings ,an oversized black chiffon shirt with long sleeves and patent court shoes. A casual/ formal outfit which is not boring , covers the right parts and gives the outfit a twist of confidence
2- Ripped Jeans, long sleeved white top and my beloved converse. I wear this when I don’t want to have a jacket on, as I am running around doing errands and I want to look stylish just the same. ( Although the bun on top of my head on a Saturday morning is not so avant garde!)
3- Thick tights, white shirt, short skirt and heeled boots. I wore this just the once for a girly dinner and I loved that it was simple. That evening I wanted my make up to pop (you know what i mean when your eyebrows and eyeliner are on fleak?),yet again threw on the cardigan and gave enough character to my look.
The other waterfall cardigan has a more fuller look, the material is more steady and together with the grey a black tartan pattern . The way I dressed it up:
1- Thick tights, light sleeveless black dress with a high neck, court shoes and BAM waterfall cardigan. Comfort and Style with no hassle.
2- Cropped blue jeans, black polo neck, flat black patent loafers and BAM waterfall cardigan. Effortless chic!
3- On very cold days, I wear my cropped long black trouser, thick socks, my country black boots, my favourite black button up cotton top, the cardigan and my black midi double breasted cotton & faux leather jacket. The cardigan does peak out but it gives the outfit a nice edge or so i think!
These are only the outfits I came up with till now. I have never been the versatile type of girl, I have always been “the more cloths I have the more stylish I will be”. Effectively a capsule wardrobe would really work wonders in everyday outfit selection and I am planning a declutter session to that effect. Also I really cannot avoid mentioning how Primark is stepping up it’s game on the material of their clothing. Keeping in my mind that personally my target when I go to Primark is just to pick a few pieces so I always have a really in debt look at the texture of the material.
Take Care Lovelies xx
