Hello Lovelies! Today I bring you a product that has made my morning make up routine shorter and also opened my mind to a whole new world of powder. Also, on is baffled by the third image above with a sky blue background when I took all the three photos from the same angle at the same time.#clearlynotaphotographer
In my mind powder will dry up my skin so I always stayed away, it won’t cover my flaws and it is only good to set my foundation. I was on the browse to find a BB cream or something that I could put on my face in the morning with not too much blending. Review after review there was a popular product that stood out so I decided to give it a go.
The MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in NC20 is a very pale nude tone that suites my skin perfectly. The texture is of a typical face powder but with greater pigmentation. I started by applying my concealer and then moved on to my trusted KIKO powder brush swirled it around the powder and then applied it in soft circular motions around my face.
Primarily you see an instant coverage of red area’s, once the whole face is covered you can see a smooth canvas were you are able to build colour and structure. The coverage is light to medium. It feels like you have nothing on your face and it gives a matte finish. Although it goes without saying, I need to put some bronzer and blusher in the morning, with this powder it is even more important to give more definition to your face as it gives your skin a one dimensional look.
It stayed on without budging for approximately 5 hours and I only needed to blot away some oil in the late afternoon.
This is perfect for a work foundation, not cakey ,not heavy and it gives you a very natural finish which I personally prefer for the office.
