Hello Ladies! Bringing you a cleansing routine on a bright Easter Monday.
These are the current products that I turn to in the mornings, were my main objective is to cleanse lightly and moisturise in a way that my skin is hydrated however leaving me with a rather matte finish.
First things first, I need to have my daily dose of Green Tea and lemon, I give myself fifteen minutes on the sofa while watching a YouTube video and waiting for my ‘little’ dog to do his business. I believe green tea really does boost your skin, not only your digestive system.
We proceed to the sink and I grab my trusted Tea Tree Witch Hazel Foaming Face Wash by boots. It is an extremely light cleanse, which I need in the morning and it leaves your skin soft and also smells like a posh spa!
Moving on to toner, THE toner, that is delicate and removes any residue, very gentle on the skin. Vichy Purete Thermale Toner.Applied with a cotton pad all around my face.
Next, my signature serum for the past 2 years, this could easily be my 6th bottle! L’Oreal Extraordinary Facial Oil. I use 2 drops only in the morning, I rub my hands vigorously to warm up the serum and gently pat it on my face especially on my forehead. I then wash my teeth while it settles.
Once teeth are clean, I move on the moisturiser . Again for the morning i want something light and easy for my skin to take in. L’Oreal Skin Perfection Day Moisturiser does just this. Distributing the product in an upward manner, including my neck; I then move to my eye cream. Simple regeneration age resisting eye cream. Again the eye cream settles in the skin pretty quickly, it’s consistency is a mix of gel and cream.
Before I go on to make up, I have a shower which is not too warm (as the steam would counter act and open my pores and we don’t want that!), once I’m done my face would be ready for the days make up and I feel my face hydrated for the whole day which is always my aim! Also in summer I tend to mix some sun cream with moisturiser but only if I will be out doing errands.
Take Care Lovelies xx
